The Short Rest was opened in October of 2024

at 532 S Joplin Ave in Joplin, Missouri.

2pm-11pm Wednesday thru Sunday

Closed Monday and Tuesday

The Short Rest is a family-friendly fantasy tavern. Our aim is to provide a fun place for the community to come together and partake in a range of adventures such as movie nights, Fae raves, Medieval Fight Club, and of course Dungeons and Dragons. Enjoy a meal fit for a king, and specialty mocktails and alcoholic cocktails handcrafted by our wonderful staff.
